Anybody Out There?
Is there anybody out there who still
has half a thought for civility, and
justice, with maybe hint of some kind sought
from fair weighing of the analysis,
and a heart not pre-struck on hard mine,
meaning we need intelligent design
with ethics elevated inside those
who don’t cheat to win or whine when they lose,
who give without accounting up the bet
and wait before deciding everyone’s
all wet, not set on undividing all
there is to get, seeing sum of some out
there yet helping with the flood, adding to
our should of goodness with their could of would.
